Decent Mexican food, good service. Probably only decent place to eat in glenwood. They used way too much queso on our food and that's the only reason for 4 stars, other than that it was good food.
I was certainly surprised that Glenwood AR would have such good Mexican food but it is super yummy. I've been here twice- once for fun and once post funeral. Both times were great!
Wow...really good! After digging for diamonds and finding none, why not go to the El Diamante to find something tasty even if it doesn't shine? This is a locally popular restaurant for good reasons! The food is really tasty and of good quality! The interior is bright, colorful and clean which does add to the experience! The service is superb! We had a party of 7 and all had the same opinion! I had the taco salad (along with way too many chips drenched in queso). It was huge, very filling and fantasic flavor! A note, they have a lime flavored candy as you walk out the door, grab one or 3 as you'll be amazed!
Fantastic!! I was a little weary to try a restaurant in a strange, small town, but I'm so glad that I did! Some locals referred my family to El Diamante so I had to try it out. The queso was great, along with our entrees. I'd recommend the "Shortys Special". I was also amazed with the prices. Affordable, great food & sweet service!!
Awesome environment!! All the furniture is beautifully painted! The food is so good!! The shrimp dish, guacamole, fajitas for two ( chicken and beef), and the salsa was ALL delicious. No alcohol was only thing, but have a drink at home afterwards!!!!
Work brought me to Glenwood from Little Rock and at first sight I thought, "Wow, there's nothing good to eat here". The only places I saw driving in were McDonalds, Sonic, and Subway! But then the locals told me about El Diamante and I figured I'd give it a try. The food is amazing! It was served quickly and hot. My server was also very pleasant. The photo speaks for itself! If you're ever in Glenwood, El Diamante is a must-try!
Just have one thing to say. "Yum!!" Food was great & affordable. Service was so friendly and fast. We will definitely come back next time we're in town!
